Terms & Conditions

Last updated · May 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase of tickets to, and attendance at, events organized by Sum of Five. By buying a ticket you agree to the terms below.

1. Ticket Sales Are Final

All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges except where an event is cancelled or postponed by Sum of Five, as set out in the sections below.

2. Postponed Events

If an event is postponed, your ticket automatically transfers to the rescheduled date. No action is required on your part — your existing ticket and QR code remain valid for the new date.

3. Refunds for Rescheduled Dates

If the rescheduled date does not work for you, contact us within 14 days of the postponement announcement at support@thesumof5.com to request a full refund to your original payment method.

4. Cancelled Events

If an event is cancelled outright by Sum of Five, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. No request is necessary.

5. Changes to Events

Sum of Five reserves the right to change the venue, date, or programming of any event, or to cancel an event entirely, at our discretion. Where a change materially affects your ticket, the postponement and refund terms above apply.

6. Transactional Communications

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to receive transactional emails and messages related to your purchase — including order confirmations, tickets and QR codes, event reminders, and notices of any changes to event details. These messages are necessary to deliver your ticket and are separate from marketing communications, which require your explicit consent.

7. Age Requirement

Attendees must be of legal age for the event they attend. Many Sum of Five events are held at licensed venues and are restricted to guests 19 years of age or older — the legal drinking age in Ontario. Age requirements are noted on each event listing, and valid government-issued photo ID may be required for entry.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your attendance at an event are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
